Plastic compressor - multitalent for the recycling
The Plastcompactor of Herbold serves for the agglomeration, condensing, dry and crystallising within the scope of the plastic recycling. Between a being certain one and a rotary disc the plastic material is introduced about a rotor. In the compaktor room an Ansintern occurs through friction. Afterwards the warm material reaches to a hot granulator.
After the treatment is Agglomerat. The plastic compressor built in different dimensions reaches a power between 100 and 2,000 kg / h. Beside converting in gur Agglomerat crystallising of PET and careful processing is possible with it also also of difficult materials like PET and PA without dismantling, discoloration or other damage.
In addition, one can carry out with the compressor the dry of foils or fibers with the following compaction and the training of colorings and fillers as well as additives.

Herbold plastcompactors of the class HV are machines to the plastic processing.

Procedure
The processing occurs in the flow company between a rotating one and a stationary compressor disc which are taken with screwed, replaceable Knetleisten. This (according to kind on 0-10 to 0-25 mms) prechopped up material is continuously promoted from a buffer silo with the help of a darning snail by the centre of the stationary disc through in the working zone. The Friktion (friction) in and between the compressor discs warms up the material quickly.
Agglomeration
The prechopped up material is warmed up so far that it softens and in the surfaces versintert. There originate worm-shaped things from up to 60-mm length which are sucked off and become postground in a postguts mill on the desired Agglomeratgröße. The Agglomeratgröße can be influenced by the choice of the sieve punching in the postmill.
The postground end product goes through a wind harvester who leads back the dust shares still contained in the Agglomerat and fine shares in the compressor to the renewed flow. The glaze temperature of the material is not reached during the process.
Drying
The prechopped up material is warmed up so far that the humidity escapes. Besides, is able to - however, must not be reached necessarily - the conurbation temperature. Also with extreme materials (e.g., Stretchfolien from less than 20 µ m of strength) rest-humid are reached after the drying clearly less than 2% which permit a successful subsequent treatment on normal extrusions or hose downpour machines with most materials.
Compoundation
The material perhaps prepared in a mixer is warmed up up to admission of the fillers.
Cristalisation
The softness of the chopped up material between the compressor discs causes an adjustment of the molecules and the crystallisation of the polyester. The glaze point is not reached. The IV value (viscosity) remains almost unchanged.
